What is FARMYARN?
FARMYARN is a unique, elastic, multipurpose yarn made from 100% recycled textile selvages, a by-product of garment production. Selvages are the left-over edge strips from the cutting and sewing of clothes and other textile products. We recycle these selvages to reduce waste in the garment industry worldwide! Selvages are normally thrown away, creating a lot of waste that sits in landfills. Our team uses a unique method (patent pending) to repurpose these selvages by turning them into a "yarn" that is cord-like in function and appearance. FARMYARN is made from knitted textiles that are composed of synthetic fibers blended with elastane (Lycra) collected from swimsuit, undergarment and athletic wear manufacturers all over the world.
What is FARMYARN used for?
FARMYARN is 100% multipurpose and can be used for just about anything that needs a flexible, stretchy cord.
