What is FARMYARN?

FARMYARN is a unique, elastic, multipurpose twine made from 100% recycled textile selvages, a by-product of garment production. Selvages are the left-over edge strips from the cutting and sewing of clothes and other textile products. They are usually sent to the landfill as waste. We recycle selvages directly from garment manufacturers and repurpose them into a "yarn" that is twine-like in function and appearance. FARMYARN is made from knitted textiles composed of synthetic fibers blended with elastane (Lycra) collected from swimsuit, undergarment and athletic wear manufacturers all over the world. Use FARMYARN instead of conventional twines and yarns and reduce waste!
